What is planned?

PLANNING APPLICATIONS

The following applications have been submitted for planning permission and Notice is hereby given under:

a. Section 73 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990:-

24/00393/FULHH Demolition of existing outbuilding to make way for new detached single garage. 38 Main Street, Great Dalby, Leicestershire, LE14 2ET

24/00527/VAC Vary condition 3 attached to planning permission ref.

23/00444/FUL to increase the number of children from up to 4 to 5. 2 Nursery Lane, Knipton, Leicestershire, NG32 1RQ  

24/00603/FULHH Side extension to the existing house to link up to the existing garage. Meadow View, 14 South Street, Scalford, Leicestershire.

b. Section 67 and 73 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990:-

24/00248/LBC Removal and refitting of existing slates to external roof slopes (part retrospective due to urgent works required to make good leaking to prevent further internal damage to property. Repairs to sash window frames and replacement of two modern frames within the principle elevation. Replacement hardwood door within principle elevation of the property. Repairs to stone porch. Cardigan House, 55 Burton Street,  Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire.   


24/00589/FUL Change of use of redundant barns to form events venue. Church Farm, Church Lane, Wartnaby. Leicestershire.

c. Regulation 5 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990:-

24/00590/LBC Change of use of redundant barns to form events venue. Church Farm, Church Lane, Wartnaby, Leicestershire.

A copy of each application will be available for inspection from 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. Monday to Friday at Parkside, Burton Street, Melton Mowbray LE13 1GH. They will also be available on the website www.melton.gov.uk/viewplans, from where comments can be submitted.

Any person who wishes to make representations to  the Council, should do so in writing to within 21 days from the publication of this notice. Any representations submitted will become available for public inspection. For householder applications, in the event of an appeal dealt with by representations in writing, any representations made about this application will be  sent to the Secretary of State, and there will be no further opportunity to comment at appeal stage.
