INTENDED DISPOSAL BY LEASE OF OPEN SPACE LAND AT

Land at Park Lane, Fareham, PO16 7JU

Section 123 (1), (2A) Local Government Act 1972

Notice is hereby given that Fareham Borough Council, pursuant to powers under Section 123(1), (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972, intends to dispose of a leasehold interest in the land specified below, in response to a request from Padel4All.

Part of open space land at Park Lane, Fareham, PO16 7JU.

and is also available for inspection in the offices of Fareham Borough Council at Civic Offices, Civic Way, Fareham, Hampshire PO16 7AZ during the following time:

Monday to Friday 08:45-17:15

PURPOSE OF DISPOSAL

Fareham Borough Council proposes to grant a 20-year lease of the land to Padel4All in response to their enquiries about a Padel Tennis facility.

The area of land is approximately 1,650 square metres.

OBJECTIONS

Any objections relating to the intended disposal should be made in writing to the Head of Asset Management at the address below no later than 18 July 2024. Objections should state reference number: POS-0624 and also include the grounds for objection which relate to the loss of open space.
