Proposed Development - Amendment to conditions 1,2,4,6, 41 and 43 of planning permission ref 01/09/360 to permit an extension of the depth of the quarry to -37m AOD, continued working of the quarry until 31st December 2077 with restoration by 31st December 2078 and consequent amendments to the working scheme and restoration proposals at Back Lane Quarry, Back Lane, Nether Kellet, Carnforth, LA6 1EA

Proposed Development - Amendment to conditions 1,2,4,6, 40 and 41 of planning permission ref 01/03/1185 to permit an extension in the depth of the quarry to -37m AOD, continued working of the quarry until 31st December 2064 with interim restoration by 31st December 2065 and final restoration by 31st December 2078 and consequent amendments to the working scheme and restoration proposals at Leapers Wood Quarry, Kellet Road, Carnforth, LA6 1BP

I give notice that Aggregate Industries UK Limited and Tarmac Trading Limited are applying to the Lancashire County Council for the above developments and that the applications are accompanied by an Environmental Statement and Non-Technical Summary.

Members of the public may inspect copies of the applications, plans and documents on the County Council's website planningregister.lancashire.gov.uk If you do not have access to the internet and wish to see the application details please contact the County Council on 01772 534181 or 01772 534129.

Paper copies of the Environmental Statements may be purchased from Heatons, The Arc, 6 Mallard Way,
Pride Park, Derby, DE24 8GX at a cost of £250.

Anyone who wishes to make representations about either of these applications should write to Lancashire County Council, Development Management Group, County Hall, PO Box 100, Preston PR1 0LD, email devman@lancashire.gov.uk or via 'Have your Say' on the County Council's website by 20 July 2024.
