Notice of Pre-Application Consultation (PAC) to be published in a local newspaper under regulation 7(2)

Priestgill Wind Farm Limited hereby gives notice of a Pre-Application Consultation (PAC) to be undertaken in advance of the submission of a Planning Application to South Lanarkshire Council for a prospective development, comprising the installation of underground cabling and ancillary infrastructure in sections between Abington and the Elvanfoot Substation via the Leadhills Estate.

The first round of public consultation will be held at The Old Schoolhouse, 70 Carlisle Road, Abington, South Lanarkshire, ML12 6SD from 15:00 – 19:00 on 3 July 2024. It is anticipated that the second round of public consultation will take place w/c 5th August 2024. These dates will be publicised when finalised closer to the time.

The public consultation will present information boards which will provide details on the proposal and assessments which are being undertaken and give the opportunity to meet the Muirhall Energy development team and ask any questions.

Any persons wishing to comment on the proposals can either do so at the consultation events or should submit via the following means no later than 16 August 2024.

Please note that all written representations must be sent to the above addresses and not South Lanarkshire Council. An opportunity to make representations to the Council will exist once a formal application has been made.
