What is planned?

NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER
SECTION 257 AND SCHEDULE 14 OF THE TOWN &
COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 (TCPA)
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER - PROW RS328
Notice is given that Medway Council as Planning Authority for the Administrative area of Medway has made a Public Path Diversion Order under section 257 of the TCPA 1990 (as amended) because it is satisfied that it is necessary to divert the footpath PROW RS328 at Parsonage Lane, Frindsbury to which this order relates in order to enable development to be carried out in accordance with planning permission granted under Part 3 of the TCPA 1990, namely that part of the planning permission MC/21/0302. The effect of the order will be to stop up of an area of the highway shown coloured brown on the order map and the diversion of the route shown coloured purple on the order map.

A copy of the Order and map may be inspected free of charge at the following:

• Gillingham Community Hub, High Street, Gillingham, Kent, ME7 1BG
• Rochester Community Hub, Eastgate, Rochester, Kent, ME1 1EW
• Strood Community Hub, 133 High Street, Strood, ME2 4TJ
• Twydall Community Hub, 13 –15 Twydall Green, Gillingham, Kent, ME8 6JY

During normal office hours, Monday to Fridays (excluding bank holidays and
public holidays) from 30 May 2024 to 28 June 2024.

Any representation about or objection to the order may be sent in writing
addressed to Stacey McGregor at Medway Council, Gun Wharf, Dock Road,
Chatham Kent ME4 4TR before 29 July 2024. Please state the grounds on which it is made.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any are withdrawn Medway Council may itself confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.

THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING
(ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT) (ENGLAND
AND WALES) REGULATIONS 2017 (AS AMENDED)
Medway Council as Local Planning Authority has received the following
applications which are being advertised to ascertain the views of persons living near the sites and other interested parties. The proposed developments relate to one or more of the following:
1. The site of the application is within/affecting the setting of a designated Conservation Area (Section 73) of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990;
2. The application relates to, or affects the setting of a Listed Building (Section 67) of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990;
3. The application is for a Major Development;

MC/24/0095 176 Grange Road, Gillingham, Medway, ME7 2QT
Reason 3 - Outline application with some matters reserved (landscaping) for
construction of a block comprising of 17 residential apartments
with associated parking - demolition of private garages removal of
existing electrical sub-station.

MC/24/1232 Forge Cottage, 214 Bush Road, Cuxton, Rochester
Reason 2 - Listed building consent for reconstruction of the former Forge
building with glazed link extension to provide annexe

MC/24/1212 100-102 High Street, Rochester, Medway, ME1 1JT
Reason 1 - Listed building consent for extensive remedial repair works to listed
Reason 2 - Building Facade including re pointing, repairing lime plaster,
repainting. Repair the cornice at roof level and remedial works to
the guttering, repair and replace any failed timber boarding. Timber
to be inspected to windows and doors and repaired or replaced on a
like for like basis and then repaint.

MC/24/1224 Sir Henry Tizard House, 23 Railway Street, Gillingham, Medway
Reason 1 - Construction of a 2 storey three-bedroom house - Demolition of
existing garage/store
