Notice of Application for Planning Permission

NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 16 OF THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT PROCEDURE) (ENGLAND) ORDER 2015

Proposed developments at Borough Green Sand Pit, Maidstone Road, Platt, Sevenoaks, Kent TN15 8JL.

Borough Green Sand Pits Ltd is applying to Kent County Council Planning Applications Group for planning permission for:

(i) Application KCC/TM/0016/2024 - Section 73 application to vary condition 12 of planning permission TM/20/2400 (the main quarry) to allow an extension of time to extract additional sand reserves identified in the main quarry and to progressively restore the site by 31 December 2030;

(ii) Application KCC/TM/0017/2024 - Section 73 application to vary conditions 2 & 37 of planning permission TM/22/2292 (the eastern extension) to allow sand extraction to continue in the eastern extension area until 31 December 2025 with all other operations to infill and restore the site to be completed by 31 December 2030;

(iii) Application KCC/TM/0018/2024 - Section 73 application to vary conditions 1, 3 & 35 of planning permission TM/20/2397 (the northern extension) to allow for an extension of time to extract additional sand reserves identified in the quarry and the site progressively restored until 31 December 2030); and

(iv) Application KCC/TM/0019/2024 - Section 73 application to vary the wording of Condition 1 and 5 of planning permission TM/21/461 to allow for an extension of time in which to re-route the temporary drainage ditch onto its original path and the land restored to its former condition on or before 31 December 2030.

The proposed development(s) to which the above applications relate are situated within 10 metres of relevant railway land and/or affects a public right of way.
