The following applications have been submitted to the Council:

2024/1208 & 2024/1211 CARLETON RODE, The Cart Lodge, Rode Lane - Installation of additional conservation roof light to similar design as existing roof lights.

Reason(s): Listed Building and/or curtilage.

2024/1598 BRESSINGHAM, Villa Farm, Kenninghall Road - Variation of condition 2 of 2023/3340 - change of design.

Reason(s): Does not accord with development plan.

2024/1614 & 2024/1615 WYMONDHAM, 21 Cock Street, Wymondham, Norfolk, NR18 0BX - Repairs to property.

Reason(s): Affects a Conservation Area, Listed Building and/or curtilage.

2024/1570 KETTERINGHAM, Pelican House, Church Road - Erection of a low wall for flood prevention.

Reason(s): Listed Building and/or curtilage.

2024/1576 & 2024/1577 WYMONDHAM, 2 Church Street, Wymondham, Norfolk, NR18 0PH - Erection of a single-storey extension, including localised removal of existing modern and C19 fabric, internal refurbishment of annexe and introduction of renewable power sources including external works to the existing forecourt.

Reason(s): Listed Building and/or curtilage, Affects a Conservation Area.

2022/1627 WICKLEWOOD, Whitehall Farm, Crownthorpe Road - Combined heat and power units, digestate lagoon, new asphalt pad, and revisions to digester tank and mixers, in association with existing crop-only biomass (anaerobic digestion) renewable energy facility.

Reason(s): Major development.

PLANNING APPLICATION 2022/1108

REASON FOR INQUIRY

Appeal by Deal Farm Biogas Limited relating to the application to South Norfolk District Council for the Construction of an Anaerobic Digestion facility (part retrospective), comprising: 1 no. digester tank and 1 no. secondary digester/ digestate storage tank, silage clamps, liquid and dry feed system; digestate separation, handling and pasteurization, biogas upgrading and mains gas-grid connection; carbon capture, CHP, agricultural building; office buildings, weighbridge, 2 no. covered digestate storage lagoons, and associated plant, vehicular accesses, roads and landscaping (including earth bunds). Revised application following withdrawn planning application 2021/2788 at Deal Farm Kenninghall Road, Bressingham, Diss, Norfolk, IP22 2HG. An accompanied site visit by the Planning Inspector will take place on Monday 17 June.

The Inquiry will take place on three separate dates:

Tuesday 25 June 2024, scheduled to run for 4 days starting at 10am dealing with technical and highways evidence.

Tuesday 9 July 2024, scheduled to run for 4 days starting at 10am dealing with landscape, planning evidence plus a session on conditions and obligations.

Monday 22 July 2024, scheduled for 1 day starting at 10am for closing submissions.

An Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State will attend at the place, date and time shown above to decide the appeal. Members of the public may attend the inquiry and, at the Inspector's discretion, express their views. SECTION 69

HEDENHAM AND DITCHINGHAM HALL CONSERVATION AREA

NOTICE IS GIVEN under the provisions of Section 69 of the above Act that South Norfolk Council, after consulting with those affected, resolved on 20th May 2024 to amend the boundary of Hedenham and Ditchingham Hall Conservation Area.

The principal effects of being included within a conservation area are as follows:

The Council is under a duty to prepare proposals to ensure the preservation or enhancement of the area. Permission from the Council may be required for the demolition of buildings in the area. Special publicity must be given to planning applications for development in the area. In carrying out any functions under the Planning Acts (and in particular in determining applications for planning permission), the Council and the Secretary of State are required to take into account the desirability of preserving or enhancing the character or appearance of the area. Six weeks' notice must be given to the Council before works are carried out to any tree in the area.
