THE CITY OF STOKE-ON-TRENT (TWO UN-NUMBERED FOOTPATHS, LAND AT WESTON ROAD, MEIR STOKE-ONTRENT) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER (NO. 1) 2024
The above order was made on 4th June 2024. The effect of the order will be to divert the public footpaths running Point A (Grid Reference SJ9319 4291) and proceeds in a generally westerly direction for approximately 8m to Point B (Grid Reference SJ9319 4292). The footpath continues in a generally west-north-westerly direction for approximately 14 metres to Point C (Grid Reference SJ9313 4290). The footpath continues in a generally north-north-westerly direction for approximately 30 metres to Point D (Grid Reference SJ9316 4295). The footpath continues in a generally westerly direction for approximately 100 metres to Point E (Grid Reference SJ9305 4293). The footpath continues in a generally northerly direction for approximately 91 metres to Point F (Grid Reference SJ9345 4303) where it terminates. A total distance of approximately 243 metres and from Point L (Grid Reference SJ9298 4295) and proceeds in a generally southerly direction for approximately 107m metres to Point M (Grid Reference SJ9302 4286). The footpath continues in a generally easterly direction for approximately 85 metres to Point N (Grid Reference SJ9311 4286). The footpath continues in a generally southerly direction for approximately 66 metres to Point O (Grid Reference SJ9311 4280) where it terminates. A total distance of approximately 258 metres and create alternative footpaths instead to a line running from Point BB (Grid Reference SJ9328 4283). The footpath continues in a generally west-north-westerly direction for approximately 105 metres to Point AA (Grid Reference SJ9315 4285). The footpath continues in a generally north-north-easterly direction for approximately 31 metres to Point Z (Grid Reference SJ9301 4293). The footpath continues in a generally northerly direction for approximately 33 metres to Point A (Grid Reference SJ9320 4291). The footpath continues in a generally northerly direction for approximately 34 metres to Point Y (Grid Reference SJ9322 4295). The footpath continues in a generally westerly direction for approximately127 metres to Point X (Grid Reference SJ9307 4295). The footpath continues in a generally westerly direction for approximately 87 metres to Point W (Grid Reference SJ9305 4304). The footpath continues in a generally northerly direction for approximately 83 metres to Point V (Grid Reference SJ9298 4303). The footpath then continues in a generally south-easterly direction for approximately 81 metres to Point S (Grid Reference SJ9280 4288), a total distance of approximately 706 metres and Point O (Grid Reference SJ9311 4280) and proceeds in a generally westerly direction for approximately 160 metres to Point CC (Grid Reference SJ9295 4276). The footpath continues in a generally west-south-westerly direction for approximately 88 metres to Pint DD (Grid Reference SJ9288 4273). The footpath continues in a generally west-north-westerly direction for approximately 13 metres to Point EE (Grid Reference SJ9287 4273), a total distance of approximately 261 metres, as shown on the order map.
A copy of the order and the order map may be seen free of charge at Stoke-on-Trent City Council’s offices at Civic Centre Reception, Glebe Street, Stoke-on-Trent. ST4 1HH during normal office hours (0900 - 1700 Monday - Friday) until 5th July 2024. Copies of the order and map may be bought there at a price not exceeding £5.
Any representation about or objection to the order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to the Head of Legal Services (ref. 68194), Legal Services, Civic Centre, Glebe Street, Stoke-on-Trent, ST4 1HH not later than 5th July 2024. Please state the grounds on which it is made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Stoke-on-Trent City Council may itself confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
