What is planned?

Notice under Article 13 of the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) Order 2015, Section 67 & 73 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990, and Regulation 5 & 5A of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990.

Replacement of existing wooden front door with new wooden door, for Dr Alexandra Danecki. Application No: ZA24/26006/FUL. Proposal: Replacement of 3 no. first floor single glazed timber windows with new double glazed sliding sash timber windows to front and rear elevations. For T Whitham. Location: 8A Sheep Street Skipton BD23 1JH Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area. Affects the setting of a Listed Building.

Application No: ZA24/25990/HH. Proposal: Demolition of existing single storey kitchen and outhouse. Construction of single storey lean-to extension, for Mr John Midgley. Location: 12 Firth Street Skipton BD23 2PT Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Is a proposal for demolition of an unlisted building in a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA24/26028/HH. Proposal: Oil tank and external boiler for supplementary domestic heating system for Mr Ben Caldwell. Location: The Peel Peel Green Hellifield BD23 4LD Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA24/25967/FUL. Proposal: Construction of new infill/enclosed area to existing courtyard for Timothy Taylor. Location: 38 Sheep Street Skipton BD23 1HY Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA24/26003/AGRRES. Proposal: Prior approval notification for change of use for the conversion of the barn to torm one Class 3 dwelling, and associated operational development, for Mr Andrew Sedgwick. Location: Barn At Staggarth Farm Bentham LA2 7LX Reason(s): Prior Notification for Change of Use

Application No: ZA24/26021/FUL. Proposal: Replacement of Shopfront at No.13 & No.15 Swadford Street for The Trustees Of The Kino SSAS. Location: 13 And 15 Swadford Street Skipton BD23 1RD Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA24/26040/VAR. Proposal: Application to vary condition no 3 (Material Samples) of planning approval referenced 2023/24688/FUL and 2023/24689/LBC. for Corporate Real Estate. Location: HSBC 61 High Street Skipton BD23 1DS Reason(s): Proposes works to a Listed Building. Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

All comments received will be available for public inspection and will be viewable on the internet along with the application details.
