NOTICE OF DISPOSAL OF OPEN SPACE LAND

NOTICE OF DISPOSAL BY WAY OF LEASE OF

PARTS OF OPEN SPACE LAND

UNDER SECTION 123 (2A) LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that Southend-on-Sea City Council intend to grant a lease over 16 sqm or thereabouts of open space for an electric substation on land at Southchurch Park East Lifstan Way Southend-on-Sea, Essex SS1 2XE.

A plan showing the location of the land concerned may be inspected during normal office hours at the Southend-on-Sea City Council offices at Civic Centre, Victoria Avenue, Southend-on-Sea, Essex SS2 6ER or at www.southend.gov.uk/disposalofopenspaceland.

Any objections regarding the intended disposals should be made in writing to the Corporate Property & Asset Management Team Leader, Southend-on-Sea City Council, Victoria Avenue, Southend-on-Sea, Essex SS2 6ER or by email to assetmanagement-assetsandresources@southend.gov.uk.

Objections must be received no later than 4.30 pm on Friday 28th June 2024.
