Carlops Road - Pre-Application Consultation

Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2013 as amended by The Town and Country Planning (Pre-Application Consultation) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2021.
Notice under Regulation 7(2) (b) – Pre-application consultation by the prospective applicant.

Proposal: Redevelopment of Penicuik High School and associated works including alteration and partial demolition of listed buildings, erection of new extensions and other works including sports pitches, landscaping, parking, road ways and refuse storage.
Location of Development: Penicuik High School, 39A Carlops Road, Penicuik, Midlothian, EH26 9EP
Applicant: Midlothian Council
An in-person public consultation event will take place on Wednesday 19th June 2024 between 16:00 and 20:00 at Penicuik Leisure Centre (39a Carlops Road, Penicuik, EH26 9EP).
During this event, members of the project team will be available to respond to any questions and receive feedback on the proposals.

If you wish to make comments on the proposals, you may do so at the event, by email (address as above), or via post to Iceni Projects, 7 Alva Street, Edinburgh, EH2 4PH, no later than 17th July 2024.
This notice does not relate to a planning application. Comments should not be made to Midlothian Council Planning Department. Any comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to the planning authority. If a planning application is subsequently submitted to Midlothian Council, statutory neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposed development.
