NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 13 OF APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMISSION

Proposed development at Former John Lewis Depot, Letcombe Street, Reading, RG1 2HN

(also known as JLP Mill Lane)

I give notice that John Lewis Partnership BTR Ltd is applying to Reading Borough Council for planning permission for Demolition of the existing building and redevelopment of the site comprising erection of a new building for up to 215 build to rent residential dwellings (Use Class C3) together with flexible commercial / community space (Use Class E/F1/F2), residents' facilities, landscaping, public realm, amenity space, cycle parking and disabled car parking.

Any owner* of the land or tenant** who wishes to make representations about this application should write to Reading Borough Council at Civic Offices, Bridge Street, Reading, RG1 2LU by 6th June 2024.

*’Owner' means a person having a freehold interest or a leasehold interest the unexpired term of which is not less than seven years.

**'Tenant' means a tenant of an agricultural holding any part of which is comprised in the land.

Statement of owners' rights

The grant of planning permission does not affect owners' rights to retain or dispose of their property, unless there is some provision to the contrary in an agreement or lease.

Statement of agricultural tenants' rights The grant of planning permission for non-agricultural development may affect agricultural tenants' security of tenure.
