What is planned?

(KIRKCUDBRIGHT HALF MARATHON) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2024 

The Council has made an Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on the Kirkcudbright Half Marathon route (with the exception of vehicles engaged in the race) for the purpose of facilitating the holding of this special event from 11:00 until 16:30 Saturday 25/05/24 and shall have effect only at such times as indicated by appropriate traffic signs or under the instruction of a police officer in uniform.

(A711 DUMFRIES – DALBEATTIE – KIRKCUDBRIGHT & C64S NEW ROAD AND STATION ROAD) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2024 
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily suspend parking on A711 Maxwell Street and C64s Station Road, Dalbeattie from 0930 to 1530 on 27/05/24. 
The parking suspension is necessary to facilitate safe access to underground network. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

(B727 DALBEATTIE – GATEHOUSE) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2024 
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close B727 outside Waterside, The Stell, Kirkcudbright from 0800 to 1800 on 28/05/24. The closure is necessary to facilitate new pole installation works. Alternative route available via A755, B727 and vice versa. Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
