Notice under regulation 7(2)(b).
Pre-Application Consultation.
Take notice that Queequeg Renewables Ltd propose to submit an application for planning permission to South Lanarkshire Council in respect of proposed construction and operation of a 20MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and associated infrastructure, at Land off Hurlawcrook Road, Kelvin South Business Park, East Kilbride.
The first public consultation event will be held on the 29th May 2024 between 15.00 and 19.00 hours at The Village Centre, 12 Maxwell Dr, East Kilbride, Glasgow G74 4HG, where members of the project team will be in attendance to answer any questions.

Persons wishing to make comments on the proposal should do so in writing to the applicant’s agent no later than the 14th June, 2024.
This notice does not relate to a planning application and comments should not be made to South Lanarkshire Council. Comments made to the applicants are not representations to the planning authority; there will be an opportunity to make formal representation to the Council once the planning application is submitted.
