REGULATIONS 2012 NOTICE OF CONSULTATION FOR:

MAIN MODIFICATIONS TO LOCAL PLAN

The Council is consulting on Main Modifications to the Local Plan. The Plan sets out the overarching planning and development strategy for the Borough up to 2036.

Following the submission of the Local Plan for Independent Examination in November 2021, and the subsequent Examination Hearing Sessions held between September and December 2022, the Inspectors have, at the request of the Council, recommended a number of Main Modifications to the Plan in order for it to be found sound and legally compliant. The consultation runs from Tuesday 7th May until Tuesday 18th June 2024.

Copies of the Main Modifications together with the submission version of the Local Plan are available at local libraries (check https://www.barnet.gov.uk/libraries/library-opening-times for library opening times).

Comments can only be made on the proposed Main Modifications to the Barnet Local Plan, not the full draft Plan as submitted. When submitting your comments, please make clear which Main Modification(s) you are commenting on.
