NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR SUBSEQUENT CONSENT UNDER THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT PROCEDURE) ORDER 2015

RE-ADVERTISEMENT FOLLOWING SUBMISSION OF REVISED DRAWINGS

Proposed development at:

Land To South of Railway Line Westerfield Road Ipswich Suffolk

I give notice that Bellway Homes Ltd is applying to Ipswich Borough Council for subsequent application in respect of Submission of reserved matters (access, landscaping, layout, scale, and appearance) for Phase 1 comprising 198 dwellings, an electricity sub-station, landscaping, open space, roads, and other associated works; in relation to outline planning permission IP/14/00638/OUTFL for a mixed use development for up to 815 dwellings (C3); a district centre; a primary school (D1); vehicular access from Westerfield Road (x2) and Henley Road (cycle, pedestrian, emergency vehicle, temporary bus route only); provision of public amenity space; infrastructure (including highways, parking, cycle, pedestrian routes, utilities and sustainable drainage systems); landscaping and engineering works. Works proposed will affect Tree Preservation Orders and public right of ways within the application site. The Application also seeks to part discharge condition 26 (Arboricultural Method Statement) of IP/14/00638/OUTFL in so far as they relate to Phase 1. IP/14/00638/ OUTFL was EIA development, and an Environmental Statement was submitted with the application under the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) (England and Wales) Regulations 2011 (as amended).

Revised plans have been received to the above application on the 17th April, 18th April, and 22nd April 2024. The revisions include corrections to discrepancies and inconsistencies to the landscaping plans, layout plan, and elevation plans for House Type Tailor and Fuller Life; and minor changes to the highway layout to achieve an adoptable standard. A full list of the updated application documents and plans is included with the revised plans and is entitled 'Submission Plans and Documents as of 26.4.24'.

Any comments you send to the Council will be copied to the Planning Inspectorate in the event of an appeal. Only include information you are happy to be made available over the internet. In the event of an appeal there normally will be no further opportunity to make representations at appeal stage.
