BCP Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Draft Charging Schedule

CIL Regulations 2010 (as amended) (Regulation 16).

BCP Council is inviting representations on BCP CIL Draft Charging Schedule from Thursday 25 April to 1pm on Thursday 6 June 2024. The BCP CIL Draft Charging Schedule places a '£ per sqm' charge on new development to fund infrastructure needed to support growth of housing, employment, leisure and transport identified in the draft BCP local plan. The documents can be viewed online at https://haveyoursay.bcpcouncil.gov.uk/cil-2024. Paper copies of the BCP CIL Draft Charging Schedule are available for inspection during normal opening hours at:

  • BCP Council, Civic Centre, Bourne Avenue, Bournemouth, BH2 6DY;
  • Christchurch Library, 29 High Street, Christchurch, BH23 1AW;
  • Poole Library, Kingland Road, Poole, BH15 1QE;
  • Boscombe Library, 32 Hawkwood Road, Boscombe, Bournemouth, BH5 1BY;
  • Kinson Library, Wimborne Road, Bournemouth, BH11 9AW; and
  • Rossmore Library, Herbert Avenue, Poole, BH12 4HR.

Those making representations may request the right to be heard by an examiner at the examination of the BCP CIL Draft Charging Schedule. Representations may be accompanied by a request to be notified of progress when the documents are submitted for examination, publication of recommendations stage, and approval.
