Elstead and Weyburn Neighbourhood Plan 2013-2032 - Publication of the Decision Statement Elstead Parish Council submitted the Elstead and Weyburn Neighbourhood Plan 2013-2032 (the “Plan”) to Waverley Borough Council on 23 September 2021.
Waverley Borough Council held a consultation on the submitted Plan from 29 October 2021 - 10 December 2021. An independent examiner, Mr Andrew Ashcroft, then conducted an examination by written representations and a hearing. Mr Ashcroft produced a report setting out his recommendations on 6 December 2023.
On 19 April 2024 Waverley Borough Council published the Decision Statement on the Plan. The Decision Statement sets out that the Council accepts all of the independent examiner’s recommendations. It also agrees that the Plan can proceed to referendum. The Decision Statement together with the report of the independent examiner can be inspected on the Council’s website at www.waverley.gov. uk/ElsteadNP If you are unable to access the document online, please contact the Planning Policy team on 01483 523291 and we will endeavour to make a hard copy available to you.
What’s next?
The Council will arrange for a referendum to take place on the Elstead and Weyburn Neighbourhood Plan. The above Regulations require that this takes place within 56 working days after the publication of the Decision Statement.
