NOTICE OF PUBLICATION OF PLAN PROPOSAL

ROTHER LOCAL PLAN

Regulation 18 of The Town and Country Planning
(Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012

Rother District Council is preparing a new Local Plan. It will guide development and land use in our area.
Copies of the draft Local Plan and supporting documents will be available online for a period of twelve weeks commencing on 30 April 2024 and ending on 23 July 2024.

The draft Plan and the accompanying documents can be viewed on the District Council’s website by using the following link:
www.rother.gov.uk/draftlocalplan

You can view hard copies of the draft Local Plan for the period of the consultation at: Bexhill Town Hall, Battle Library, Bexhill Library, Hastings Library, Heathfield Library, Hollington Library, Rye Library, Wadhurst Library, Northiam Community Library, Ore Community Library, Ticehurst Community Library. Consultation forms will also be made available at the above deposit points.

Any person, business or organisation may comment on the Plan or supporting documents. These can be submitted online via the consultation webpage. Comments on the relevant form may also be made by email to draftlocalplan@rother.gov.uk or by post to The Planning Policy Team, Rother District Council, Town Hall, Bexhill-on-Sea, TN39 3JX.

All comments must be received by the Council no later than 5pm on Tuesday 23 July 2024. Submissions received after this deadline cannot be considered. Please note that all comments will be publicly available and will be forwarded for consideration by the person appointed to carry out an examination of the Plan.
