Bath Lane - Road Closure to Enable Network Rail/amey to Carry Out Bridge Inspections

What is planned?

THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (BATH LANE, MANSFIELD TOWN) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2024 (M24-072)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Mansfield Town in the District of Mansfield.

The effects of the Order will be:

1. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding in the following length of road:

a. Bath Lane - from a point 20 metres in easterly direction from its easterly level crossing barrier to a point 20 metres in a westerly direction from its westerly level crossing barrier.

2. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.

3. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.

IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows: Works 1 - From 22:00 hours on Monday 20th May 2024 Until 06:00 hours until Tuesday 21st May 2024 Works 2 - From 22:00 hours on Sunday 30th June 2024 Until 06:00 hours on Monday 1st July 2024

AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction the alternative route available will be: A60 Woodhouse Road - A60 Leeming Lane South - A6117 Old Mill Lane - B6030 Clipstone Road West - B6030 Sherwood Hall Road - B6033 Ravensdale Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into force on Monday 20th May 2024 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out. The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).
