A summary of the planning applications and drawings, sufficient to explain the developments listed below, are displayed on the interim website of Comhairle nan Eilean Siar. https://cne-siar.gov.uk/. (The Online Planning portal is not currently available) The full planning application documents, plans, and drawings may be viewed at Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, Council Offices, Sandwick Road, Stornoway HS1 2BW between 0900-1700hrs Monday to Friday by prior appointment.
Requests for an appointment, for further information or any written comments may be made within 14 days of the date of publication of this notice by email to planning@cne-siar.gov.uk or by post to the Planning Service at the address given above, quoting the application reference number:
24/00152/PPD – 5D Laxdale, Isle of Lewis. Erect dwellinghouse, install solar panels and air source heat pump, create access, erect garage.  
24/00130/PPD – 5 Knockintorran, Bayhead, North Uist. Single storey extension; air source heat pump; bin store; alterations to existing drainage arrangements.
24/00129/PPD – 1D Scaristaveg, Scarista, Harris. Create access and erect house.
24/00153/PPD - Car park, 18 Bayhead, Scalpay. Change of use of land and creation of hardstanding area for car parking. Construction of 1.5m wide 250m long footpath.
24/00128/PPD - Business Units, Crowlista, Uig. Erect 7no. business units – in Use Classes 1, 2, 4 and 5 – with associated access, parking, turning, air source heat pumps and services.
24/00155/PPDM - Battery Point Energy Storage Park, Stornoway. Battery energy storage facility: comprising of 6no. banks of battery units; associated inverters, transformers, and high voltage electricity substation.  Siting of welfare unit and storage container for parts.  Create site access, aggregate hardstanding, carparking area, 3m high palisade fencing and gates, and 4m high acoustic barrier. 
24/00061/PPD - Minch View, 24 Locheport. Change of use and conversion of existing outbuilding to form accommodation unit for holiday letting and additional domestic accommodation.
