TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (South East) (No. 13) Order 2024” authorising the stopping up of an irregular shaped eastern part width of Queens Mead at Chiddingfold in the Borough of Waverley. This is to enable development as permitted by Waverley Borough Council, under reference WA/2019/1922.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/ SE/S247/5625). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Post Office, Petworth Road. Chiddingfold, Godalming, Surrey, GU8 4UF.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 3 May 2024.
