Notice of proposed development/works at (a) Land to the North East of Saint Thomas Church, Wheatley Lane Road, Barrowford. 24/0247/VAR Variation of Condition: Vary Condition 2 (Plans) of Planning Permission 22/0197/FUL. The proposal is a Major Development. The proposal is within the Barrowford Conservation Area. (b) Land to the East of Colne Road, Earby. 24/0094/FUL Full: (Major) – Hybrid planning application (Full planning application for 39 no. homes to the North and Outline planning application for up to 31 no. homes to the South with access (all other matters reserved)). The proposal is a Major Development. (c) 11 Colne Road, Earby. 24/0163/FUL Full: Change of use from a single dwelling to commercial use at ground floor and a self-contained flat at first floor. The proposal is within the Earby Conservation Area. (d) Park Hill Farm, Gisburn Road, Barrowford. 24/0232/FUL Full: Conversion of existing barn and outbuilding into 5 no. dwellings. The proposal is within the Higherford Conservation Area. (e) Deerstone House Windlefield Farm, Birch Hall Lane, Earby. 24/0166/FUL Full: Creation of a parking area, erection of a children’s play area, a shower/toilet block, a sauna and hot tub, reception building/shop, demolition of a timber stable building and formation of footpaths all to support a permitted glamping use at the site. The proposal is within the Earby Conservation Area. A Public Right of Way is adjacent to the proposal.

(f) Edge End House, Edge End Lane, Nelson. 24/0121/LBC Listed Building Consent: Removal and replacement of existing outbuilding roof. The proposal affects a Listed Building. The proposal is within the Edge End Conservation Area. (g) Edge End House, Edge End Lane, Nelson. 24/0123/LBC Listed Building Consent: Partial demolition and reconstruction of the eastern wall of the property including the chimney. The proposal affects a Listed Building. The proposal is within the Edge End Conservation Area. The Council has received these applications and is required to advertise them under the above legislation. Copies of the applications can be inspected during normal office hours at Number One Market Street, Nelson until 17 May 2024. Any representations about these applications should be made either in writing to the Planning Services Manager, Town Hall, Market Street, Nelson, BB9 7LG, so as to arrive not later than 17 May 2024; or, a copy of the application can be inspected on the Council’s website (www.pendle.gov.uk under Environment/Planning/View Planning Applications) and comments made online. All comments received will be available for public inspection and will be viewable on the internet along with the application details. However, we will endeavour to prevent signatures, telephone numbers and email addresses from appearing on the comments published on the internet. Decisions are normally made within six to eight weeks (11 to 13 weeks for major planning applications). Details of the decision will not automatically be sent to those that have made comments.
