NOTICE OF MAKING OF AN ORDER
(OTHER THAN AN ACQUISITION EXTINGUISHMENT ORDER)
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990,
SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14
THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF PENDLE PUBLIC FOOTPATH FP1315093 AT CHURCHILL WAY (EXTENSION), LOMESHAYE INDUSTRIAL ESTATE PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2024
The above order was made on 18 April 2024. The effect of the order will be to divert the public footpath running from junction of footpaths FP1315114 and FP1315115 situated on the west bank of Pendle Water near Lomeshaye Industrial area at grid reference SD 8424 3745 (at Point A on the order map) to the junction of footpaths FP1315089 and FP1315090 to the east of Old Laund Hall Farm at grid reference SD 8414 3736 (Point B) to a line running from a point on footpath FP1315114 on the west bank of Pendle Water at grid reference SD 8424 3746 (Point C) to the junction of footpaths FP1315089 and FP1315090 to the east of Old Laund Hall Farm at grid reference SD 8414 3736 (Point B) as shown on the order map.
A copy of the order and the order map may be seen free of charge at Number One Market Street, Nelson, Lancashire, BB9 7LJ from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Copies of the order and map may be bought there at the price of £1.00 or can be requested by contacting 01282 661659 or email legal@pendle.gov.uk.
Any representation about or objection to the order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to the Legal Services Manager, The Borough Council of Pendle, Nelson Town Hall, Market Street, Nelson, Lancashire, BB9 7LG or by email to legal@pendle.gov.uk not later than 27 May 2024. Please state the grounds on which it is made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, The Borough Council of Pendle may itself confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
