I give notice that FP McCann is applying to Derbyshire County Council for planning permission for recommencement of mineral operations to extract the remaining sand reserves with restoration to grassland, woodland, and scrub.
The application is accompanied by an environmental statement.
Members of the public may inspect copies of the application, plans and other documents submitted with it by prior arrangement at Derbyshire County Council, County Hall, Matlock, Derbyshire, DE4 3AG, tel. 01629 539800 (available online at www.derbyshire.gov.uk), or at the Planning Department, Amber Valley District Council, (available online at Link to AVBC planning website) during all reasonable hours until 23 May 2024. A copy of the environmental statement may be obtained from Heatons, The Arc, 6 Mallard Way, Derby, DE24 8GX so long as stocks last, at a cost of £300 for a printed copy.
Anyone who wishes to make representations to the County Council about this application should do so by 23 May 2024
by writing to the Executive Director of Place, at the County Council postal address given above,
by email to: planningrepresentations@derbyshire.gov.uk,or
by using the facility for representations about current planning applications available on the Council’s website www.derbyshire.gov.uk.

The development may affect a right of way to which Part 3 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 applies.
