COMPULSORY PURCHASE OF LAND IN MANCHESTER

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Manchester has made the City of Manchester (Dantzic Street) Compulsory Purchase Order 2024 under section 226(1)(a) and section 226 (1A) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. It is about to submit this order to the Secretary of State for Levelling Up Housing and Communities for confirmation, and if confirmed, the order will authorise the Council of the City of Manchester to purchase compulsorily the land described below for the purpose of the promotion or improvement of the economic, social or environmental well-being of the area

A copy of the order and of the accompanying map may be seen at all reasonable hours at the Customer Service Centre, Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, Manchester, M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB)

Any objection to the order must be made in writing to Planning Casework Unit, Department for Levelling Up Housing and Communities, 4th Floor, 23 Stephenson Street, Birmingham, B2 4BH before 17th May 2024 and should state the title of the order, the grounds of objection and the objectors address and interests in the land.

1991.49 square metres being the site of former depot situated on the south west side of former public highway known as Warford Street, Manchester excluding the interests of Cadent Gas Limited and Electricity North West Limited (Plot 1)

65.66 square metres forming part of entrance to the site of former depot situated on the south west side of former public highway known as Warford Street, Manchester and adjacent half width of public highway known as Dantzic Street, Manchester (Plot 2)

187.71 square metres forming part of former public highway known as Warford Street, Manchester (Plot 3) 60.18 square metres forming part of former public highway known as Warford Street, Manchester and now forming part of former waste processing facility, Dantzic Street, Manchester (Plot 4)

133.59 square metres forming part of former waste management depot, Dantzic Street and adjacent half width of public highway known as Dantzic Street, Manchester (Plot 5)

12.29 square metres forming part of yard of former waste processing facility lying on the east side of Dulwich Street, Manchester (Plot 7)

129.94 square metres former passageway adjacent to former building 9 Dulwich Street (formerly Dixon Street) and former passageway running to the rear of former buildings 4/28 (even no. incl.) Ducal Street and now forming part of former waste processing facility, Dulwich Street, Manchester (Plot 8)

175.86 square metres former public highway Ducal Street, Manchester and adjacent halfwidth of public highway Dantzic Street, Manchester (Plot 9)
