What is planned?

Town And Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2013 Town And Country Planning (Pre-Application Consultation) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2021

Notice under regulation 7 Pre-application consultation by the prospective applicant

Proposal: Demolition of existing building and redevelopment to provide purpose built student accommodation (Sui Generis); residential accommodation (Class 9 /Sui Generis); with associated landscaping, access, and infrastructure.

Site Location: Princes House, 51 West Campbell Street, Glasgow, G2 6QQ

The public consultation will continue on Thursday 25th April 2024 with the second public exhibition event.

The second in-person public exhibition event will take place at 51 West Campbell Street, Glasgow, G2 6QQ on: Thursday 25th April 2024 (3pm-7pm).

Those wishing to make comments on the proposals may do so at the above events and/or in writing to Savills, Planning, 163 West George Street, Glasgow, G2 2 JJ.

This notice does not relate to a live planning application. Comments on the emerging proposals should be made to the project team and not to Glasgow City Council. Any comments made at this pre-application stage are not formal representations to the planning authority in respect of any future planning application.

As part of any future planning application submitted to Glasgow City Council (as planning authority), normal neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time, with opportunity to make formal representations on the proposals.
