The following applications have been received by the Council and are required to be advertised under the above Acts:

A/24/96739/MAJOR 33-53 Library Street and Arcade House 2 Arcade Street Wigan

WN1 1NN. Change of use of and two storey extension to upper floors to create 26 apartments and 4 additional Class E units following removal of existing mansard roof, new shop fronts and facades to Library Street and Arcade Street, associated external alterations including new and replacement windows and security fencing and access gate to College Avenue.

Notice is hereby given that an application has been made to Wigan Council for the above works which the Council considers would affect the setting of a listed building and which is within a Conservation Area: Wigan Town Centre Conservation Area. The Council has received the following planning application which is located within a Conservation Area: Mesnes.

A/24/96935/CU Hind Dental Practice 1 Mesnes Park Terrace Wigan WN1 1SU. Conversion of existing dental surgery at ground floor (Use Class E) into a five person 5 bedroom House in multiple occupation (Use Class C4).

A planning application has been made to Wigan Council for the above proposal, which the Council considers would affect the character or appearance of the Conservation Area.

A/24/96953/FULL Former Debenhams Store 39 The Grand Arcade Wigan WN1 1BH.

Change of use of existing floorspace to mixed use, comprising Use Class E

(Commercial, Business and Service) and Sui Generis (Drinking Establishments and

Venues for Live Music Performances and Events) and external alterations to the Millgate elevation including new entrances, fascias and balconies, new rooflights, with outdoor seating areas and associated works.

Notice is hereby given that an application has been made to Wigan Council for the above works which the Council considers would affect the setting of a listed building.

A/24/96773/LA Old Zoo Site Haigh Woodland Park School Lane Haigh. Erection of 3 glasshouses, tool shed/store and change of use of Bothy Cottages and stores to create a multi-purpose space for education, training, horticulture and events together with associated works and restoration works including replacement roof, additional window and door openings, works to garden wall, hardstanding and landscaping following demolition of existing barn and stores and removal of stone wall section. Notice is hereby given that an application has been made to Wigan Council for the above works which the Council considers would affect the setting of a Listed Building and a Public Right of Way.

Listed Building consent for erection of 3 glasshouses, tool shed/store and associated works and restoration works including replacement roof, additional window and door openings, works to garden wall, hardstanding and landscaping following demolition of existing barn and stores and removal of stone wall section.
