The Council Intends To Make
(Nightingales Ln, Chalfont St Giles) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Nightingales Ln for approx 427M. Alternative route: Amersham Rd, London Rd East, Amersham Bypass, Stanley Hill, White Lion Rd, Chiltern Heights, Cokes Ln, Nightingales Ln and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cadent Gas mains replacement works commence on 29 July 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 29 July 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
Notice Of Making A Public Path Diversion And Definitive Map And Statement Modification Order, (Public Footpath No. 74 (Part) Parish Of Chepping Wycombe) Public Path Diversion Order 2024 made on 27 March 2024, under section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, will divert the public footpath running from SU90004-93499 on the Order map SE for 126M to SU90076-93397 then S for 30M to SU90078-93369 as shown by a bold black line to a line running from SU90004-93499 on the Order map SE for 72m to SU90058-93450 then SSE for 56m to SU90076-93397 then S for 30M to SU90078-93369 with a width of 2.5m and shown by bold black dashes.

Copies of the Order and map may be purchased from the Council at a cost of £5.00 by writing to the Definitive Map and Highway Searches Team at the address given below. Any representation about or objection to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to the Definitive Map and Highway Searches Team, Buckinghamshire Council, Walton Street Offices, Walton Street, Aylesbury, HP20 1UA by no later than 10 May 2024 or email row@buckinghamshire.gov.uk. Please state the grounds on which it is made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order. Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985 this Council is obliged to make any representations received in response to this notice, open to public inspection.
