Notice of Confirmation Of Public Path And Definitive Map And Statement Modification Orders Section 53 Of The Wildlife And Countryside Act 1981 The Oxfordshire County Council Definitive Map and Statement of Public Rights of Way for Oxfordshire Crowell Footpath No. 4 (Part) Modification Order 2024
On 08 April 2024, Oxfordshire County Council confirmed without modification the above order made under section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by:- Adding to them a footpath from the current east end of Crowell Footpath No.4 east of St Mary's Church at grid reference SU 7443 9969, leading northeast for 38m to Crowell Restricted Byway No.17 at SU 7446 9971.
The order as confirmed became operative on the date of confirmation but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, on the ground that it is not within the powers of section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or on the ground that any requirement of Schedule 15 to the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order he or she may, under paragraph 12 of Schedule 15 to the Act, within 42 days from 11 April 2024, make an application for that purpose to the High Court.
Highways Act 1980, Wildlife And Countryside Act 1981 The Oxfordshire County Council, Crowell Bridleway No. 19 and Chinnor Bridleway No. 52, Public Path Creation and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2024
On 27 March 2024, the Oxfordshire County Council confirmed the above Order under section 26 of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by creating a public bridleway as shown on the Order plan:
- running from Crowell Restricted Byway No. 17 at OS Grid Ref SU 7489 9943 north eastwards for 405m to the parish boundary at SU 7513 9975;
- and continuing from the parish boundary at SU 7513 9975 north-north-westwards for 51m and north-eastwards for 215m to Littlemore Field.
The Order came into force on the date of confirmation but if any person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980 (the Act), as amended, and/or the powers of section 53A of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 (WCA) or on the ground that any requirement of either Act or of any regulation made under them has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act and as applied by s53A(7) WCA, within six weeks from 11 April 2024 make an application to the High Court.

Section 53 Of The Wildlife And Countryside Act 1981 The Oxfordshire County Council Definitive Map and Statement of Public Rights of Way for Oxfordshire Cuddesdon and Denton Bridleway No. 22 (Part) Modification Order 2024
On 08 April 2024, Oxfordshire County Council confirmed without modification the above order made under section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by:-Adding to them the bridleway from the current south end of Cuddesdon and Denton Bridleway No.22 at grid reference SP 5928 0293 south-south-eastwards for approximately 70m to the unclassified highway as shown on the council's List of Streets at Upper Farm Cottages Denton SP 5931 0286.

Order 2023
On 20 March 2024, the Oxfordshire County Council confirmed the above Order under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by diverting:
Shilton FP2 running from OS Grid Ref SP 2723 1064 south-eastwards for 262m via SP
2731 1056 to SP 2743 1045 to a new line running from OS Grid Ref SP 2723 1064 south-
to south-eastwards for 112m to SP 27309 10558, south-south-westwards for 6m to SP
27306 10552 and south-eastwards for 155m via SP 27309 10552 to SP 2743 1045, as
shown on the Order map.
