What is planned?

Notice of Pre-Application Consultation under Regulation 7(2)(b) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2013 as amended by the Town and Country Planning (Pre Application Consultation)
(Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2021.

Lansdowne Investments Limited (“the Applicant”) hereby gives notice of the second and final pre-application consultation event to be held in relation to the following proposed development at Land 90m South West of Asda Petrol Filling Station, Loanhead.
‘Mixed use development including Class 1A (shops, financial, professional and other services), Class 11 (assembly and leisure), and Class 4 (business), and associated infrastructure, car parking, servicing, access arrangements and landscaping’.
The event will provide feedback to members of the public in respect of comments received by the Applicant as regards the proposed development.
The second and final drop-in consultation event will take place on: Monday 22nd April 2024 from 3.30pm to 6.30pm at Loanhead Leisure Centre, George Avenue, Midlothian, EH20 9LA.

This notice does not relate to a planning application and comments should not be made to Midlothian Council. Any comments made to the Applicant are not representations to the Planning Authority. If a planning application is subsequently submitted by the Applicant to Midlothian Council, normal neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken, and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal at that time.
