ILI Group PLC are exploring the potential for a new energy storage facility at Braidfield Farm. This proposal would enable around 100MW of power to be stored and exported from the site to the electricity grid.
We are looking to engage with the local community and as part of our pre-application consultation we are holding an exhibition to enable people to find out more about the proposal and to provide us with their views. Comments and feedback should be made by the 10th May 2024 through the online comment form or to Greig Templeton, Planning Project Manager via email gt@ili-energy.com or by post to Braidfield Battery Storage Ltd, 33 Bothwell Road, Hamilton ML3 0AS. Comments made to Braidfield Battery Storage Ltd are not formal representations to the Scottish Government. If we submit an application for consent, there will be an opportunity to make formal representation on the application to the Scottish Government.
