Notice Under Regulation 21
Notice is hereby given that an EIA Report has been submitted to South Ayrshire Council on 30 January 2024 by The Farm Energy Company relating to the planning application Ref: 24/00063/APP in respect of the proposed development of erection of 2 wind turbines (of up to 150m in height to tip), formation of access tracks and associated infrastructure at Land Adjacent to Olympic Business Park, Dundonald, South Ayrshire. The proposed development is subject to environmental impact assessment under the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Scotland Regulations 2017.
A copy of the EIA Report, the associated application and other documents submitted with the application may be inspected free of charge online on our website (https://bit.ly/3TVo7IS), or at County Buildings, Wellington Square, Ayr, KA7 1DR between 0845-1645 (Mon-Thurs) and 0845-1600 (Fri) until 09/05/2024.
Copies of the EIA Report and appendices may be purchased from The Farm Energy Company, The Packhouse, Wantsum Way, St. Nicholson At Wade, Kent, CT7 0PT at a cost of £600.00 for hard copies (including includes Volumes 1-3 and the Non-Technical Summary) or A USB or CD version can also be produced on request at a cost of £10 per item.
The arrangements for public participation in the decision-making process are set out in the Council's publication 'Procedures for the Handling of Planning Applications' which is available to view on the Council's website. If there is any subsequent submission of further information by the developer further notice will be published in this newspaper and neighbours will be re-notified and a further 30-day period to make written representations will be allowed.
Possible decisions relating to the application are: (i) approval of the application without conditions; (ii) approval of the application with conditions; (iii) refusal of the application.
Any person who wishes to make representations to South Ayrshire Council about the EIA Report should make them in writing within that period to the Council at the above address or by emailing planning.development@south-ayrshire.gov.uk.

Planning (Listed Buildings And Conservation Areas) (Scotland) Act 1997
Draft Girvan Conservation Area Appraisal and proposed extensions to the Girvan Conservation Area.
Notice is hereby given that a public exhibition/drop-in session to discuss Draft Girvan Conservation Area Appraisal and proposed extensions to the Conservation Area, including parts of Dalrymple Street, Bridge Street, Henrietta Street and Hamilton Street, will be held on Saturday 27th April 2024 between 12pm and 3pm at Sacred Heart Hall, Henrietta Street, Girvan.
The Draft Girvan Conservation Area Appraisal is available to view online at https://www.south-ayrshire.gov.uk/article/61315/Girvan-Conservation-Area-Appraisal, and copies will also be available at Girvan Library. An online comments form is available at https://bit.ly/3VI993X.

Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003
Notice Of Proposed Order To Exempt Land From Access Rights
In compliance with Section 11(2)(b) of the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003 (the "Act"), South Ayrshire Council gives notice it proposes to make THE SOUTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL (ROYAL TROON GOLF COURSE 152nd OPEN) EXEMPTING LAND FROM ACCESS RIGHTS ORDER (No.3) 2024 (the "Order"), under Section 11 (1) of the Act.
The Order will exempt areas of land comprising Royal Troon Golf Course, including the Wrack Road (Smugglers Trail/ core path SA6/ public right of way SCK28), a section of core path SA2, and the South Beach car park, which will be outlined on a plan annexed to the Order, from the access rights which would otherwise be exercisable in respect of that land by virtue of Part 1 of the Act: The Order is proposed to enable the 152nd Open to be held at the Royal Troon Golf Course in 2024, with the land being proposed specifically for temporary exemption from access rights in the interests of the safety and security of participating players and the safety of staff and the public, during the setup, dismantling and staging of the event, and to permit an entrance fee to be levied on spectators for admission to the Championship.
For the period during which the relevant exemption order is in force, an alternative route for the relevant section of core path SA6/ right of way SCK28 will not be available. The proposed Order will be effective during the period from: 24th June 2024 (or the date on which it is confirmed by the Scottish Ministers, if later) until 29th July 2024, inclusive.
