PRE-APPLICATION CONSULTATION PUBLIC EVENT
Proposal: Installation of a 49,9MW battery energy storage facility, landscaping with all associated works, equipment and necessary infrastructure. Site Location: Land 198 Meters North Of Pitcurran House Newburgh Road Abernethy Perth PH2 9LH.
A public meeting will be held for the purposes of community consultation for this possible development proposal.
The event will take place on 22nd April 2024 between the hours of 2:30pm and 6:30pm and are being held at Williamson Hall, Abernethy, details will be posted on the consultation website one week prior to the events.
Further information relating to this proposal may be obtained from the prospective developer, OPDENERGY by visiting the consultation website www.balgoniebess.co.uk. You are able to make comment on the proposals directly to the developer at this stage, either at the above events and/or via the email planning@opdenergy.com.
These comments must be submitted no later than 13th May 2024 at 7pm. Please note that all comments must be sent to the developer to the contact details stated above and NOT to Perth and Kinross Council. There will be an opportunity to make representations to the Council as and when a formal planning application for the proposal is submitted. Opdenergy
