Town and Country Planning (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT) REGULATIONS 2017 (as amended) – NOTICE UNDER REGULATION 25
FURTHER INFORMATION RELATING TO AN APPLICATION (KCC/SE/0495/2018) DATED 3 OCTOBER 2018 FOR PLANNING PERMISSION ACCOMPANIED BY AN ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT.
KCC/SE/0495/2018 – Proposed development at Covers Quarry, Westerham, Kent.
Further to my previous notices published in November 2018, January 2020, February 2021, August 2022 and May 2023 under the requirements of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015 which advised that Morants Promotions Ltd was applying to Kent County Council for planning permission for stabilisation and restoration of the quarry using imported engineering materials to restore the site to grassland, including landscape planting and an ecological receptor are a together with a temporary road and ancillary buildings and that the application was accompanied by an environmental statement (ES) and would affect a public right of way and affect the setting of a listed building, I give notice that FURTHER INFORMATION is now available in relation to that environmental statement. The information comprises: Green Belt Assessment, GB Card Technical Note No. 6, Further Noise Report and Statement of ES Conformity (all received 21 March 2024)

Members of the public may obtain full papers copies of the further information from Morants Promotions Ltd, Squerryes Estate Office, Beggars Lane, Westerham, Kent, TN16 1QP (by appointment or telephone 01959 562345), at a charge or £100 or on a USB stick free of charge.

Comments are accepted within 31 days from the date of this notice (12 May 2024). Please quote the application reference number (KCC/SE/0495/2018) and note that comments may be drawn to the attention of Council Members, the applicant and other interested persons and may include publishing on the District Council website.
