Notice of proposed development/works at (a) Development Site at Former Brook Shed, New Road, Earby. 24/0213/VAR Variation of Condition: Regularise Condition 1 (Implementation of timescales), Vary Condition 2 (Plans), Condition 3 (Materials), Condition 4 (Materials), Condition 5 (Materials), Condition 7 (Landscaping Scheme); Compliance of Conditions: Condition 8 (Management and Maintenance), Condition 9 (Construction Method Statement), Condition 10 (Ecological Mitigation Scheme), Condition 12 (Flood Risk Assessment), Condition 13 (Maintenance Scheme), Condition 14 (Site Specific Flood Risk Assessment), Condition 15 (Sustainable Drainage Strategy), Condition 16 (Construction Surface Water Management Plan), Condition 17 (Site-Specific Operation Manual), Condition 20 (Construction of Site Access and Off-site works), Condition 21 (Full Engineering, Drainage, Street Lighting and Constructional Details of roads and footways), Condition 22 (Management and Maintenance of estate roads and footways); Removal of Conditions: Condition 19 (Flood Resilience Measure), Condition 25 (Highway boundary wall), Condition 29 (Archaeological Recording) and Condition 30 (Historic Record) of Planning Permission 22/0577/FUL. The proposal is a Major Development. The proposal is within the Earby Conservation Area. (b) The Workshop, Cemetery Road, Earby. 24/0205/FUL Full: Change of use from workshop to beauty salon with associated internal and external changes, alongside new stone wall to perimeter and associated site works. The proposal is within the Earby Conservation Area. The Council has received these applications and is required to advertise them under the above legislation. Copies of the applications can be inspected during normal office hours at Number One Market Street, Nelson until 26 April 2024. The case officers dealing with these applications are: (a) Alex Cameron who can be contacted on (01282) 661713, (b) Laura Barnes (661719). Any representations about these applications should be made either in writing to the Planning Services Manager, Town Hall, Market Street, Nelson, BB9 7LG, so as to arrive not later than 26 April 2024; or, a copy of the application can be inspected on the Council’s website (www.pendle.gov.uk under Environment/Planning/View Planning Applications) and comments made online. All comments received will be available for public inspection and will be viewable on the internet along with the application details. However, we will endeavour to prevent signatures, telephone numbers and email addresses from appearing on the comments published on the internet. Decisions are normally made within six to eight weeks (11 to 13 weeks for major planning applications). Details of the decision will not automatically be sent to those that have made comments.
