(THE B8048 WATERSIDE ROAD)
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
On the 2 April 2024 the East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of for emergency service vehicles, vehicles engaged in the works and those vehicles requiring access to land and properties adjacent to the closed section of road when its safe and practical to do so) on Waterside Road, Kirkintilloch, between its junctions with Drumgrew Roundabout and Langmuir Road, by reason of works being executed on or near this road.
This Order will operate from 08.00 hours on Sunday, 14 April until 18.00 hours on Sunday, 21 April 2024. Alternative Route
The alternative routes will be by way the B8048 Waterside Road, the A806 Initiative Road, the A803 Glasgow Road and Kilsyth Road in Kirkintilloch, the
A803 Glasgow Road in Kilsyth, the B802 Airdrie Road, Howe Road and Auchinstarry Road and the B8048, and these routes will be sign posted.
