Compulsory Purchase of Land at 12 Princess Road, Bridport
1. Notice is hereby given that the Dorset Council has made the Dorset Council (12 Princess Road, Bridport) Compulsory Purchase Order 2024 under 226(1)
(a) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. It is about to submit this order to the Secretary of State for confirmation, and if confirmed, the order will authorise the Dorset Council to purchase compulsorily the land described below for the purpose of the facilitating its improvement.
2. A copy of the order and of the accompanying map may be seen at all reasonable hours at Dorset Council, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester, Dorset, DT1 1XJ by appointment only. To book an appointment please call the Housing Standards Team on (01305) 221000 or e-mail housingstandards@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk. Copies are also available through Dorset Council's website www.dorsetcouncil.gov.uk/housing/empty-homes.
Alternatively hard copies can be sent by post free of charge upon request by contacting the Housing Standards Team.
3. Any objection to the order must be made in writing to the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, Planning Casework Unit. 23 Stephenson Street, Birmingham, B2 4BH, before 2nd May 2024 and should state the title of the order, the grounds of objection and the objector's address and interests in the land. Please, if possible, also send a copy of the objection by e-mail to pcu@levellingup.gov.uk in addition to posting.

All interests in 12 Princess Road, Bridport, DT6 5AY (having an area of approximately 364m2) and being registered at the Land Registry with title number DT393116.
