What is planned?

(COLLEGE MAINS, PHASE 2, DUMFRIES) (20 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that The Council has made the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Details may be inspected online between 22/03/24 and 03/05/24 at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk/ or by arrangement (Tel – 01387 271100). Any person wishing to challenge the validity of the Traffic Regulation Order on the grounds that it is not within the Statutory powers set out in the Act or relevant regulations, or that any requirement of the Act or relevant regulations has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Traffic Regulation Order was made, make an application to the Court of Session for that purpose, to the Head of Roads and Infrastructure, Communities Directorate, Dumfries and Galloway Council, Militia House, English Street, Dumfries DG1 2HR, to be received by 03/05/24.

(U711N EASTFIELD ROAD/ U794N KELLWOOD ROAD, DUMFRIES) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2024 
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close the U711n Eastfield Road and U794n Kellwood Road, Dumfries between A756 Brooms Road and U793n Kellwood Avenue from 9am on 02/04/24 – 6pm on 24/05/24. The closure is necessary to facilitate installation of new HV supply. Alternative route available – Local diversions as signposted on site during works. Works to be carried out in phases i) Eastfield Rd between Brooms Rd and Rosevale St ii) Eastfield Rd/Kellwood Rd between Rosevale St and Barnton Rd iii) Kellwood Rd between Barton Road and Kellwood Ave. Major diversion during works A756 Brooms Rd, A780 Annan Rd, C208n Georgetown Rd, C206n Gillbrae Rd, U639n Barton Rd and vice versa. Residential Access will be available via North or South at all times during works. Emergency access will be available. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

(C125N CAIRNHALL – PENPONT - CADGERHALL) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2024 
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close the C125n from just North of Breconside Farm, Thornhill to East of Eliock Lodge, Sanquhar from 7am on 01/04/24 – 5pm on 12/04/24. Works will be under a rolling closure and carried out in 4 sections. Part 1: Breconside Farm to Crairieknowe Cottages. Part 2: Clairieknowe Cottages to Glenairlie Bridge. Part 3: Glenairlie Bridge to Mennock Bridge. Part 4: Mennock Bridge to Eliock Bridge, Sanquhar The closure is necessary to facilitate Scottish Water trial hole works. Alternative route available via C125n, C128n, A76(T), U427n, U428n, C125n and vice versa and signed accordingly as per each section. 
Emergency access will not be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

(U106N WARRENHILL ROAD, GREENLEA) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2024 
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close the U106n Warrenhill Road, Greenlea between Derwent and Railway Bridge from 0930 – 1530 daily between 03/04/24 and 05/03/24. The closure is necessary to facilitate telecoms maintenance work. No Alternative route available. Access to residents will be maintained. Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
