NOTICE UNDER REGULATIONS 21

Notice is hereby given that an application for Planning Permission in Principle for the following development, which is subject of an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) has been received by North Lanarkshire Council as Planning Authority:

Proposed Residential-led Mixed Use Development with associated access, open space, landscaping, drainage features and associated infrastructure - Land at Palacerigg Road, Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire. (Planning ref: 24/00230/PPP).

Possible decisions relating to the planning application are:- (i) approve the application without conditions, (ii) approve the application with conditions; or (iii) refuse permission.

The documents including the EIA Report can be inspected online at: www. northlanarkshire.gov.uk but following the links to ‘planning’ and ‘view and comment on planning applications’ and entering the reference number 24/00230/PPP. Access to the internet to view these documents is available at North Lanarkshire Council libraries.

Paper copies of the EIA report with supplementary information may be purchased from Stantec UK Ltd Environmental Planning Team at 9 George Square, Glasgow, G2 1DY (IEPEnquiries@Stantec.com) at a cost of £20 for the Non Technical Summary (NTS), £300 for the EIA report and £400 for the appendices, or £20 for a full digital set of these documents on USB. Representations can be made to North Lanarkshire Council in relation to the submitted application, and these should be made in writing within 30 days of the date of this notice by email to planningenquiry@northlan.gov.uk, or online at www.northlanarkshire.gov.uk via the link to the planning portal. Representations must be dated and include the full name and address of those making representations.

Please note that all representations including your name and address require to be open to public inspection and will be published on the Council’s website, although sensitive personal information such as signatures, email addresses and phone numbers will be redacted.
