What is planned?

Notice under Article 13 of the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) Order 2015,

Section 67 & 73 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990, and Regulation 5 & 5A of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990.

North Yorkshire Council (Craven) has received the following applications that are required to be advertised under the above legislation for the reasons stated.

Application No: ZA24/25778/FUL. Proposal: Proposed ventilation system, external lighting, external signage together with internal alterations for Hinchcliffes. Location: 9 Sheep Street Skipton BD23 1JH Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area. Affects the setting of a Listed Building.

Application No: ZA24/25779/LBC. Proposal: Proposed ventilation system, external lighting, external signage together with internal alterations for Hinchcliffes. Location: 9 Sheep Street Skipton BD23 1JH Reason(s): Proposes works to a Listed Building.

Application No: ZA24/25758/FUL. Proposal: Demolition of existing porch entrance and construction of a single storey extension on Duckett Street elevation. for Trinity St Andrew's Church. Location: Trinity St Andrew's Church Westmoreland Street Skipton BD23 2EA Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA24/25744/FULMAJ. Proposal: Erection of 24 no. dwellings with associated access road, landscaping and parking. for R N Wooler & Co. Location: Land at Skipton Road Bradley Reason(s): Is a Major Development proposal. Would affect the route of a public right of way.

Application No: ZA24/25769/AGRRES. Proposal: Change of use of agricultural building to 2 no. dwellinghouses under Class Q (a and b) for Miss Jill Perrings. Location: Land to North of Paley Green Lane Giggleswick BD24 0DZ Reason(s): Prior Notification for Change of Use

Application No: ZA24/25776/FUL. Proposal: Change of use of agricultural land to B8 Storage use, including fencing, and new access (part retrospective and re-submitted application to application reference 2023/24902/FUL, refused 7th November 2023, with additional information). for Mr J Towler. Location: Land to West of Christies High Mill Lodge Lane Langcliffe BD24 9LX Reason(s): Affects the setting of a Listed Building.

Application No: ZA24/25790/HH. Proposal: Demolition of existing rear extensions; new 2-storey rear extension; re-roof existing cottage roof for Mr I Procter. Location: 3 Castle Hill Settle BD24 9EU Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area. Affects the setting of a Listed Building.

The applications are available to view and for comment online at publicaccess.cravendc.gov.uk/online-applications/ or electronically at 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ.

Representations can also be sent in writing to Development Management, 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton. BD23 1FJ so as to arrive no later than 6th April 2024.

All comments received will be available for public inspection and will be viewable on the internet along with the application details. However, we will endeavour to prevent signatures, telephone numbers and email addresses from appearing on the comments published on the internet.
