ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
(VARIOUS ROADS, GAYTON & PATTISHALL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along those lengths of roads as specified in the Schedule below.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during the installation of fibre network for Gigaclear.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 5th April 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the roads will be restricted for up to 10 weeks.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: For Milton Road use Milton Road, Blisworth Arm, North Street, Banbury Lane, Bugbrooke Road and Back Lane. For High Street and Baker Street use Back Lane, Blisworth Road and Baker Street. For Gayton Road, Pattishall use Eastcote Road, Back Lane, Blisworth Road, Blisworth Arm and High Street. For Gayton Road, Pattishall use Gayton Road, Banbury Lane, Bugbrooke Road, Eastcote Road and Gayton Road. For Eastcote Road, Gayton use Eastcote Road, Bugbrooke Road, Banbury Lane and Gayton Road. For Blisworth Road, Gayton use High Street, Northampton Road, Milton Road, Blisworth Arm and Milton Road.

(ALFRED STREET, NORTHAMPTON) (NORTHBOUND ONLY) ORDER 2024
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Alfred Street, Northampton (northbound only) as set out below. LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Alfred Street, Northampton (northbound only) from Billing Road to Stockley Street.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during gully and carriageway works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 8th April 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for one day.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Cliftonville Road, Bedford Road, Rushmere Road, Park Avenue South and Wellingborough Road.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Johns Road, Bugbrooke as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Johns Road, Bugbrooke from Kislingbury Road to Butts Hill Crescent.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during installing of cabling in carriageway.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 2nd April 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted until 12th April 2024.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Lower Ecton Lane, Little Billing from Crow Lane to County boundary.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during installation of telecom cabling works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 5th April 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Stoke Road, Blisworth from the junction of Greenside to Knock Lane.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during vegetation clearance.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 25th March 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during telecom works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 26th March 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 18th March 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the roads will be restricted for 4 days at each location.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Whilton Road use Holdenby Road and Eastern Avenue North. Henry Street use A5123, St Michael’s Avenue and St Michael’s Mount. Holly Road use A5095 and Ivy Road.
