NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 15(4) OR (5) OR ARTICLE 16 OF
APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMISSION
Proposed development at former Godstone Quarry, Bletchingley Road, Godstone,
Surrey, RH9 8ND.
I give notice that Ashill Land Ltd is applying to Tandridge District Council for full
planning permission for the phased development of the site for 140 new homes (Use Class
C3), new doctor’s surgery (Use Class E(e)), publicly accessible open space, land reprofiling
and associated infrastructure including the Godstone Parish Council car park and access,
site access, internal roads and off-site highways works, parking areas, landscaping and
associated car and cycle infrastructure and associated works to facilitate the development.
The proposed development does not accord with the provisions of the development plan in
force in the area in which the land to which the application relates is situated.
Members of the public may inspect copies of:
• the application
• the plans
• and other documents submitted with it
at Tandridge District Council Offices, 8 Station Road East, Oxted, RH8 0BT during all
reasonable hours until 29th March, 2024.
Anyone who wishes to make representations about this application should write to
the Council at Tandridge District Council Offices, 8 Station Road East, Oxted,
RH8 0BT, quoting reference TA/2022/1523, by 29th March, 2024.
In the event that an appeal is made against the decision of the Council to refuse to grant
planning permission for the proposed development, and the appeal then proceeds by way
of the expedited procedure under the written representations procedure, any representation
made by the owner or tenant to the Council about this application will be passed to the
Secretary of State and there will be no opportunity to make further representations. Any
owner or tenant wishing to make representations should do so by
the date given above.
