TREE PRESERVATION ORDER NUMBER 8
(GLEN ETIVE, HAGGS)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Falkirk Council as planning authority for the Falkirk area has made the Falkirk Council Tree Preservation Order Number 8 relating to 2 trees at Glen Etive, Haggs shown on the map signed as relative to the Order.

The Order is necessary to protect the character of the area and the amenity value of the trees.

A certified copy of the Order and the map referred to are available for inspection at Falkirk Council, Place Services, Suite 1b, Falkirk Stadium, 4 Stadium Way, Falkirk FK2 9EE between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. on business days and at Bonnybridge Library, Bridge Street, Bonnybridge FK4 1AD and Denny Library, Davies Row, Denny, FK6 6FA between the hours of 10am and 5pm Monday, Tuesday, Friday, 10am and 8pm Thursday and 10am and 3pm Saturday.

An electronic copy of the Order can be provided by email free of charge by sending a request to planenv@falkirk.gov.uk

In accordance with Regulation 5 of the above Regulations, any objection or representation with respect to the Order may be made to the planning authority within twenty eight days of the publication of this Notice. Any objection or representation must be in writing and shall state the grounds thereof and specify the particular tree or trees in respect of which it is made.

Objections and representations should be sent to the Director of Place Services Suite 1b, Falkirk Stadium, 4 Stadium Way, Falkirk FK2 9EE or by email to planenv@falkirk.gov.uk

The Order shall take effect from 14 March 2024 and shall continue in force indefinitely unless Falkirk Council fails to confirm it by 14 September 2024 in which case it will lapse.
