THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE
Public Footpath Nos.16 & 17, Parish of Stoke Mandeville (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2024 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No.16, Stoke Mandeville, from the junction of Public Footpath No.18, Stoke Mandeville to the junction of Public Footpath No.4, Stoke Mandeville. And from Public Footpath No.17, Stoke Mandeville, from the junction of Public Footpath No.16, Stoke Mandeville, to the junction of Public Footpath No.4, Stoke Mandeville. The closure is required to allow for works to proceed in connection with the approved Southeast Aylesbury Link Road. The alternative route whilst the closure is effective is east along 400M of the SEALR boundary, to the existing Lower Road, then south for approximately 200M along Lower Road and then West along the SEALR site boundary with Hall End Farm for 350M to rejoin existing Footpaths. The proposed Order will come into operation on 25th March 2024, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
Notice of Coming into force of Public Footpath Diversion Order Town And Country Planning Act 1990, Section 257 and Paragraph 8 of Schedule 14 The Aylesbury Vale District Council (Public Footpath No.18 (Part) Parish of Waddesdon) Public Path Diversion Order, 2020 In accordance with section 257 and paragraph 8 of Schedule 14 to the above Act, notice is hereby given that on 27 February 2024 Buckinghamshire Council certified that the terms of Article 2 of the above Order were complied with. The Order has now taken effect.
