The following applications have been received by the Council and are required to be advertised under the above Acts:

A/23/96320/CU Canal Cottages Southgate Wigan. Conversion of offices, workshop and storage buildings to form 7 dwellings and associated works.

Notice is hereby given that an application has been made to Wigan Council for the above works which the Council considers would affect the setting of a listed building and which is within a Conservation Area: Wigan Pier.

A/23/96528/LB Home Farm Liverpool Road Ashton-in-Makerfield Wigan. Listed Building Consent for a rear and side extensions, plus alterations to existing building envelope and fenestration, including new windows and doors, together with internal works to include new partitions.

Notice is hereby given that an application for Listed Building Consent to carry out the above works has been made to Wigan Council.

A/24/96744/LB Nationwide Building Society 32 - 34 Market Place Wigan WN1 1NR. Listed Building Consent for the Installation of replacement signage including externally illuminated hanging projecting sign, externally illuminated trough lit fascia lozenge sign with individual letters and logo and internally illuminated ATM surround together with safety decals and repainting of shopfront.

Notice is hereby given that an application has been made to Wigan Council for Listed Building Consent and which is within a Conservation Area: Wigan Town Centre.

The Council has received the following planning application which is located within a Conservation Area: Wigan Lane.

A/24/96761/FULL Cherry Gardens Hotel 263 Wigan Lane Wigan WN1 2NT.

Construction of raised deck area to the rear of the property with cast iron balustrade to perimeter of deck and timber festoon posts with festoon lighting 2.6m high on catenary wire together with change of use of storage outbuilding (Class B8) to an additional outdoor bar and seating area (Sui Generis) with installation of bifold doors. A planning application has been made to Wigan Council for the above proposal, which the Council considers would affect the character or appearance of the Conservation Area.

A/24/96807/FULL La Romilas 1 King Street West Wigan WN1 1LP. Alterations to existing shop frontage to allow new access to property.

Notice is hereby given that an application has been made to Wigan Council for the above works which the Council considers would affect the setting of a listed building and which is within a Conservation Area: Wigan Town Centre.

A/24/96812/FULL J McRobb 12 - 14 Market Street Standish Wigan. Single storey front extension to shop.

Notice is hereby given that an application has been made to Wigan Council for the above works which the Council considers would affect the setting of a listed building and which is within a Conservation Area: Standish.
