The council has the below proposals under consideration and is required to give notice.

Reason for notice: Major Planning Application

Application No: 2023/01562/FULM Application Type: Full Planning (Major) Location: Novelis UK, Novelis UK Thelwall Lane, Warrington WA4 1NN.

Proposal: Extension to existing used beverage can (UBC) production unit; new dross processing building; 3No. baghouses and 3No. stacks (35m in height); relocation of existing sub-station; pump house and sprinkler tank; demolition of 4No. existing stacks (1 stack is situated inside another); demolition of 2No. existing silos and erection of 4No. silos.
