THE NORTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL (B714 NO.1)
Compulsory Purchase Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that The North Ayrshire Council, incorporated under the Local Government etc. (Scotland) Act 1994- and having its principal office at Cunninghame House, Irvine, KA12 8EE, in exercise of the powers conferred by the above mentioned Acts, on 14 February 2024, made the above mentioned Compulsory Purchase Order which affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, for the purpose of upgrading the 3.5km section of the B714 between Girthill Farm and Dalry, with other targeted on-line improvements between Diddup Farm and Girthill Farm and the construction of a new section of road between existing B714 and roundabout connection to the A737 Dalry Bypass.
The Order is about to be submitted to the Scottish Ministers for confirmation and comes into operation only if confirmed. If the Order is confirmed, a conveyance registered in implement of the Order may vary or extinguish rights to enforce real burdens and servitudes affecting the land and disapply any development management scheme affecting the land.
A copy of the Order and the map referred to therein ("the Map") have been deposited at Cunninghame House, Irvine, KA12 8EE and may be seen there without payment of fee between the hours of 09:00 and 16:45 on Mondays to Thursdays and between the hours of 09:00 and 16:30 on Fridays. A copy of the Order and the Map may also be viewed online at https://www.north-ayrshire.gov.uk/roads-and-travel/b714-upgrade.aspx.
Any objections to the Order must be made in writing stating the title of the Order and the grounds of objection and addressed to the Scottish Ministers c/o Transport Scotland, Road Policy Team, George House, 2nd Floor, 36 North Hanover Street, Glasgow, G1 2AD or by email to Roadpolicy@transport.gov.scot by 27 March 2024. This advertisement, including the Schedule hereto, is sealed with the Common Seal of The North Ayrshire Council and subscribed for and on behalf of The North Ayrshire Council by Raymond James Lynch, Senior Manager (Legal Services) and Proper Officer, at Irvine on 14 February 2024.
