HYSBYSIR trwy hyn fod Cyngor Sir Caerfyrddin wedi gwneud Gorchymyn gyda’r effaith o wahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag mynd ar hyd y darn hwnnw o Brif Ffordd yr A484 o bwynt tua 834 metr tua’r de-ddwyrain o’r gyffordd â Ffordd Dosbarth II y B4301 am bellter o 104 metr tua’r de-ddwyrain.

Y ffordd arall ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio tua’r de-ddwyrain o bwynt i’r gogledd-orllewin o’r man lle mae’r ffordd ar gau fydd parhau tua’r gogledd-orllewin yn gyffredinol ar hyd Prif Ffordd yr A484, gan deithio drwy bentrefi Cwmdwyfran, Pentre Morgan, Cynwyl Elfed, Cwmduad a Rhos, hyd at y gyffordd â Prif Ffordd yr A484 yn Saron. Troi i’r dde wrth y gyffordd a pharhau drwy Bentre-cwrt tua’r gogledd-ddwyrain ar hyd yr A486 hyd at y gylchfan ym Mhont-tyweli. Wrth y gylchfan, defnyddio’r ail allanfa i Ffordd Dosbarth II y B4336 a theithio tua’r de-ddwyrain ar hyd rhan o ffordd osgoi Llandysul, gan barhau drwy bentref Llanfihangel-ar-arth, hyd at y gyffordd â Phrif Ffordd yr A485. Wrth y gyffordd, troi i’r dde a pharhau tua’r de-orllewin ar hyd yr A485, gan fynd drwy bentrefi New Inn, Gwyddgrug, Alltwalis, Pont-ar-sais, Rhydargaeau a Pheniel er mwyn cyrraedd cylchfan Dolgwili. Wrth y gylchfan, defnyddio’r ail allanfa a pharhau tua’r de-orllewin ar hyd yr A483 Heol Dolgwili gan fynd heibio i Ysbyty Glangwili hyd at y gylchfan nesaf. Wrth y gylchfan, defnyddio’r ail allanfa theithio tua’r gogledd-orllewin ar hyd yr A484 Heol Bronwydd er mwyn dychwelyd i bwynt sydd i’r de-ddwyrain o’r man lle mae’r ffordd ar gau. I’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer traffig dargyfeiriedig sy’n teithio tua’r gogledd-orllewin.

Bydd y Gorchymyn yn parhau mewn grym hyd nes y bydd Cyngor Sir Caerfyrddin yn cwblhau gwaith cymorth hanfodol i’r briffordd.

Bwriedir i’r gwaith ddechrau ar 12 Chwefror, 2024 a chael ei gwblhau mewn oddeutu 4 wythnos.

Lle bo hynny’n briodol gall Gorchmynion Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd dros dro barhau mewn grym am hyd at ddeunaw mis.

PL/07018 Reserved Matters Consent for phase 1 of outline consent W/27776 and PL/01626 for the approval of 123 residential dwellings, associated infrastructure and POS provision at Land to the north of Old St Clears Road (B4312), south of Pentremeurig Road and west of Carmarthen known as Pentremeurig Farm South for Persimmon Homes West Wales - Kate Harrison (Major application)

The County of Carmarthenshire (Principal Road A484 Between Carmarthen and Bronwydd Arms) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE is hereby given that the Carmarthenshire County Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that length of the Principal Road A484 from a point approximately eight hundred and thirty-four (834) metres south east of its junction with the Class II Road B4301 for a distance of 104 metres in a south easterly direction.

The Alternative Route for south east bound traffic from a point north west of the closure will be to proceed in a general north westerly direction along the Principal Road A484 passing through the villages of Cwmdwyfran, Pentre Morgan, Cynwyl Elfed, Cwmduad and Rhos, to its junction with the Principal Road A486 at Saron. Turn right at the junction and continue via Pentre Cwrt in a north easterly direction along the A486 to the roundabout at Pontweli. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the Class II Road B4336 and travel in a south easterly direction along part of Llandysul Bypass, continuing through the village of Llanfihangel-ar-arth, to its junction with the Principal Road A485. At the junction, turn right and proceed in a south westerly direction along the A485, passing through the villages of New Inn, Gwyddgrug, Alltwalis, Pontarsais, Rhydargaeau and Peniel to arrive at Dolgwili roundabout. At the rounabout, take the second exit and continue in a south westerly direction along the A483 Dolgwili Road passing Glangwili Hospital to the next roundabout. At the rounabout, take the second exit and travel in a north westerly direction along the A484 Bronwydd Road to return to a point south east of the closure. 

Vice versa for north west bound diverted traffic.

The Order will continue in force until Carmarthenshire County Council complete essential support works to the highway.

It is intended that the works commenced on the 12th of February 2024, and will be completed in approximately 4 weeks.

Where appropriate temporary Road Traffic Regulation Orders may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months.
