What is planned?

Planning (Listed Buildings & Conservation Areas) Act 1990

The following applications have been received by the Council and are required to be advertised under the above Acts:

A/23/96541/MAJOR Land to Rear of and 71 Pepper Lane Standish Wigan WN6 0PY. Residential development of 57 dwellings with associated access, parking, landscaping, infrastructure and associated works following demolition of 71 Pepper Lane.

The Council has received the following planning application which is located within a Conservation Area: Park Road.

A/23/96569/HH 21 Park Road Golborne Warrington WA3 3PU. Dormer to the rear together with the installation of rooflights to the front.

A planning application has been made to Wigan Council for the above proposal, which the Council considers would affect the character or appearance of the Conservation Area.

A/23/96527/VARMAJ Evolution 36 - 44 King Street Wigan WN1 1BS. Application to vary conditions 2, 16, 22 and remove 25 of previously approved A/20/89737/MAJOR to allow for the ground floor to be used as a food hall, leisure and recreation venue, the basement to be used in conjunction with the first-floor commercial units and associated physical alterations.

Notice is hereby given that an application has been made to Wigan Council for the above works which the Council considers would affect the setting of a listed building and which is within a Conservation Area: Wigan Town Centre. A/23/96467/FULL Old Seven Stars Farm, 498 Preston Road Standish Wigan. Erection of three detached dwellings, creation of new access, garages and associated works following the demolition of the existing buildings on the site.

Notice is hereby given that an application has been made to Wigan Council for the above works which the Council considers would affect the setting of a listed building. The application forms and plans can be viewed on our website
